Nursery & Reception Induction Evening

Thursday 20th June 

If your child is due to join Nursery or Reception from September this year, please come along to our induction evening at 6.00pm, when you can find out everything you need to know about starting off in our school.   You will receive an induction pack and have the chance to meet the staff.

Welcome to the website for Midsomer Norton Primary School. I have had the pleasure of serving as Head Teacher in the school since January 2006 and it seems that a great deal has happened since then.  We have a wonderful new extension to our building, providing greatly improved facilities for our children.  Besides rising academic standards, what characterises the school is its commitment to the development of the whole child and a strong emphasis on children's care, support and well-being. We have delightful children, wonderful staff and very committed Governors and parents. But it's easy for the Head to sing the school's praises; it's part of my job. Perhaps the last word should therefore go to a pupil:

“We’re always happy, so we always want to learn.”
