Welcome to the website for Midsomer Norton Primary School. I have had the pleasure of serving as Head Teacher in the school since January 2006 and it seems that a great deal has happened since then.  We have an exciting new building development in full flow and our 2011 Ofsted inspection highlighted the strength of our Early Years classes, the 'good' quality of teaching and high levels of parent satisfaction with the school.  Besides high standards in teaching, what characterises the school is its commitment to the development of the whole child and a strong emphasis on children's care, support and well-being. We have delightful children, wonderful staff and very committed Governors and parents. But it's easy for the Head to sing the school's praises; it's part of my job. Perhaps the last word should therefore go to a pupil:

“We’re always happy, so we always want to learn.”
