Open Day Weds 5th June 

Curious to see round our school?  Come to our Open Day on Wednesday 5th June.  No appointment needed; just pop along between 9.30 - 11.30 or 1.30 - 2.30 and our pupils will show you around.  Mr Knollys looks forward to meeting you.  This is for any parents of children not in our school, including all our existing Nursery parents.  We hope to see you on the 5th.

Welcome to the website for Midsomer Norton Primary School. I have had the pleasure of serving as Head Teacher in the school since January 2006 and it seems that a great deal has happened since then.  We have a wonderful new extension to our building, providing greatly improved facilities for our children.  Besides rising academic standards, what characterises the school is its commitment to the development of the whole child and a strong emphasis on children's care, support and well-being. We have delightful children, wonderful staff and very committed Governors and parents. But it's easy for the Head to sing the school's praises; it's part of my job. Perhaps the last word should therefore go to a pupil:

“We’re always happy, so we always want to learn.”
